Power station, residual heat, district heating. Good for the environment. Good for the users. Never cold feet again.
A large amount of residual heat is created when generating electricity. Generating one kilowatt of electricity produces nearly two kilowatts of residual heat. It is often impossible to use the residual heat in the station itself. More often than not it is emitted unused into the environment. The solution is to provide warmth to neighbouring built-on areas using the residual heat. This kills two birds with one stone: you improve the efficiency of the power station and you save the environment.
