Gas: blue gold. Gold stock: gas storage. Pumping in and out. Compressor. Cooler and condenser.
The demand for natural gas often fluctuates. One winter may be colder than another. For thirty years, we have been storing gas: when the demand is small, then the supply will increase; when there is high demand, it will decrease. Furthermore, it is always sensible to have a gas supply as this guarantees less dependence on others, for example in the event of a disaster which would increase the demand for gas. Storing gas underground is possible in old natural gas fields or in tanks especially built for this purpose.
