Air-cooled cooler for the offshore  

Challenge / question

Some liquid components in the gas may condense in the pipes. This can be prevented by cooling the gas beforehand. Sometimes gas will have to be condensed, where case cooling is key as it allows for the most efficient condensation. If the gas has been transported through miles of pipeline, it may be necessary to increase its pressure (again). Compressors are used for this process, however, each time the pressure increases, cooling is required. Finally, cooling gas has its economic advantages as higher temperatures demand more expensive materials for the pipelines. Therefore, our clients need reliable,  sustainable/durable and safe coolers.

Our solution

The pressure at the source of a newly evaporated gas field can be very high. We develop and supply special, ultra-safe and high pressure resistant coolers. As we have been involved in the development and production of gas for years, we have extensive, far-reaching and often unique knowledge and experience in this field. We are the first in the world to offer a sophisticated subsea cooling process that cools offshore gas under water using the movement of the seawater. We also supply closed loop water cooling for offshore gas and high pressure air-cooled coolers for onshore gas.
